While children can begin formal sports at this age, they still need free form play that allows their bodies to move in unique ways. Simply playing on the floor uses the core muscles, so we get a good workout. So, even watching a video while lying on the tummy strengthens the body! Here are other suggestions.

- Obstacle Courses (indoors and outside)
- Hide and Seek (indoors and outside)
- Yard Games (Kick the Can, S.P.U.D. etc.)
